Cobalt, brokerage houses mainly the discount brokers change margin capacity all the time, overnight if they want, no warning. They'll say you're overweighted in a particular stock. Maybe you are maybe you're not. And they don't have to go along with the laws--for instance, this year, leaps are supposed to be marginable (25% I believe). And Fidelity doesn't give a crap, they won't let your leaps generate margin.

I think that's the kind of stuff he meant.

OT: Ignore KISS (Keep it Simple). Maybe some on this thread don't know but he just comes around to taunt. He's not as creative as some other taunters like skeeter bug.
