Daniel,

Scumbria's the guy with the best recent idea on making money with RMBS. He wanted to short it at 400. ... Would have been just as good a move to buy it before IDF and sell it at 400.

If nothing else, it's a volatile stock. You can definitely make money on both sides of the trips.

I'm glad everybody's patting themselves on the back here about 128meg RIMMs breaking the $600 barrier, all they need is another factor of 3 price reduction and people might start taking Rambus seriously again.

No one ever said it would happen overnight. Check in once a month or so and we'll update you on the price.

Dave

p.s. PC World, in their April 2000 issue, said RDRAM was $880 for 128M (in a review of the Dell 800Mhz system). As you posted, it's already down to $560, and the May 2000 issue of PC World says "Unfortunately, RDRAM still costs about 30 percent more than standard RAM." While that last line is clearly not correct, we know prices are coming down, and this shows that even the tone of the reviews is changing.
