Robert,
Miss the action on Monday? That's too bad, I couldn't miss it, like the World Series and Super Bowl to me and lucky me I have off most of next week.

I count myself fortunate that gold stocks haven't blasted off, though the countdown is underway and ignition could happen before the open if the dollar tanks. I have a position but would like some more.

AEM, gold stocks look like a good hedge to me, if the PPT or whatever have lost control then gold will zoom. If they haven't and they manage to hold gold back then the downside is only a step down and my oilers will rebound nicely.

So far only down 2-3% on my energy stocks but I would like to rotate more into gold if I can. Had this great urge last Wed-Thurs to rotate it all into gold stocks and cash, didn't because it was just a gut feeling. Did about 35% on Friday open to assuage the feeling, wish I would have done more, but was too busy to follow things closely on Friday.

Waterhouse has listed increased margin requirements for quite a few stocks (4 pages fine print) vast majority techs and net stocks. Got a bad feeling for Monday!

I gotta pay more attention to my gut instincts!

Best Regards,

Roebear
