I agree that "low hanging watermelon" is a McNeally'ism construct which as he has said referring to the business opportunities he has created. Using a similar metaphore of "war" strategy, he is constantly has referred to charging and capturing a hill, he gives his company time, though limited, to control that market. So legal monopolization of the market due to nimble, smart business R & D, and seizing opportunities, will create the climate and soil to grow the "low hanging watermelon" This thing about 1929, has some similarities, but a world of differences.
