kevin, part of my response may be confusing.....some of it relates to the history of this thread...... specifically, from my experience with radio (shows, etc).....the hosts have a say and serious control over their subs......they have built a show and dont want their ties with their audience severed b/c of a renegade host........maybe i havent seen enough examples but from what i have seen, and applying common sense, the hosts are borderline control nuts......i cant blame them.....if i had worked 10+ yrs building something and i needed a sub.... i wouldnt let just anyone on.....and i would control topics etc.......i think it is ironic that he has bill flanagan on due to his connections with forbes......every call i have ever heard brinker answer regarding forbes mutual fund list gets trashed.....specifically about the abysmal performance record of the list.........yet he lets flanagan sub......hmmm....from the logic espoused thus far in a previous post perhaps brinker should "screen" his hosts too.......esp. since he "dislikes" all brokers and his sub refers people to them......actually subs have referred people in recent wks...... all this aside.....brinker does a poor job of "screening" from what i listen to.....if he was a great "screener" i wouldnt hear the disagreements that arise........ fwiw, lars
