If MSFT wasn't abusing it's monopoly power, then the government wouldn't have had to punish them, and the class-action lawyers wouldn't have been forced to file suit to suck the company dry, and the market wouldn't have crashed, and so our companies wouldn't have lost their sky-high valuations. Yes, that looks like sound legal reasoning to me!
