No he won't. He can't with CPI numbers like that.
You forget that he is not managing the market as
much as he is managing the economy. This is precisely
why this situation is potentially more threatening
than August/September 1998 when the problem was outside
of North America and AG was able to cut rates.

He cannot play saviour this time.
