Actually, your quote of Ecclesiastes 10:19 is definately out of context. Read verse 18 and the rest of the book. The context is laziness. Some good quotes,

"Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income" (5:10).
"When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made one as well as the other. Therefore a man cannot discover anything about his future" (7:14)
Chapter 2 is also very good.

Ecclesiastes concludes, "Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."

A lot of good stuff. There is more to life than money...much more. Not that we don't need money nor enjoy the benefits of money.

If you take "money is the answer for everything" literally you will find that many of life's great questions will remain unanswered.

By the way, I hold a M.A. in Biblical Literature and my undergraduate degree is also in this area. If you would like to discuss Ecclesiastes further PM me as I'm sure the rest of thread may not be interested in this topic.
