I feel very torn. When I started using SI about a year and a half ago, I was mentored and guided in particular by one long time investor who said the only thing he didn't like about me was that I wasn't a Republican. I said I'll never vote Republican. He said after investing for a while you will. I wish I could create a hybrid of democrats and republicans. I do NOT like the democrat interference in business. I do NOT like the republican attitude toward the poor and disenfranchised. I've been in other countries like Australia, or had friends from Scandinavia, and we do not do well by our own. There is way too much poverty. And we don't spend enough on healthcare and education, we make these so expensive when they should be available to all.
