Can people post what the margin requirements are for stocks like JDSU, Ariba etc with US on line brokers. Are there other restrictions such as too much tech in a portfolio etc..?

I had read that Datek had moved it to 80%--does that mean the maintenance level would be 40%?
My understanding is that 50% margin, means 25% maintenance requirement.

Not too familiar with the US system. In Canada, it is just margin--no such thing as maintenance.
