(Disclaimer. I have posted this exact message on the Stillwater Mining board. For those who post/read both boards, please pardon the redunant message.)

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this board and am hoping for some opinions to help me in my DD on palladium and companies who are mining this metal.

With the recent slide in Tech stocks, I have started to look to other areas of investment to help diversify. I started to do some reading on metals and have become intrigued by the situation surrounding palladium. Although I feel I still have a week more of DD, palladium is appearing to be a pretty good play. Several questions I still have and would like to get opinions on are:

1. On the CMGI board, I read about a gentleman by the name of James Dines who is predicting an explosion in the palladium arena. From what I've read, Mr. Dines has produced a newsletter for many, many years. My question to those on this board - Can anyone provide their opinion on Mr. Dines, especially his reputation?
2. In this post, Mr. Dines is recommending two companies to benefit from the palladium explosion, Stillwater Mining and Pacific North West. I have done some DD on both companies. Would like opinions on both these companies from anyone who would like to share them and the value of each company at their current stock price.

With every bit of DD I do on palladium, the more excited I get - But not quite ready to make the leap.

Thanks.
