Jill, I would venture to guess that most Personal IRA's, Rollover IRA and 401K, SEP's and Keogh's, etc. are not "bulk" in cash. I know very few who take their 401K deductions and put them into Money Markets, or bonds. Most folks put them into growth funds or growth & income funds. No one in America (and now globally) is immune from this unless your money is in a matress, safe deposit box, or buried in a hole in your backyard. AG, Bill Clinton, Frank Zarb and Dick Grasso. Everyone of them lost money. You've got company in this mess. Steve
