SW or anyone

I have a stock that last traded in 96 at a all time high and hasn't traded since. Had some old certificates and started checking up on them. The stock last traded at 13.75 so it seems unlikely it went bust maybe a merger or something. How would I find this out on a stock that traded that long ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

David
