John, just checking to see if all is well. My portfolios have taken a beating but I've taken the opportunity of using up my sideline cash to buy this market. I bought in PMCS, JNPR, PHCM and BRCM. Tomorrow, based on the current futures, I'm expecting a down market in the morning and a sharp reversal in the afternoon. I will be adding to my QCOM position. I suspect that because of options expiration on Friday the market makers will want to bring the the Nasdaq up significantly in order to maximize profits on all those open put positions. I just checked the Nasdaq 100 index options [QQQ] and they're trading at $80. The optimal price for market makers is $100. This suggests a major turnaround in the Nasdaq this week, maybe all the way to 4000. If only I could free up some more cash without getting into margin.
