Paul, I should have clarified my definition of "Fundamentals". To me it does not simply refer to the P/E ratio. I would ask myself questions like: How is this company ranked in the industry segment it participates in? Does this company have hard assests and structure? Does the company have a good proven performance record? Is it diversified enough to handle industry sector crap-outs? Is it deemed a "Cult Stock"? Is it legally healthy - ie. are there no major / significant attacks on it by others?

And I can go on and on. That is why I mentioned CSCO and the others.

You are right about the P/E as that is a major factor to consider but not the only Fundamental component.

Cheers!
