Earlier in the year I alerted SI Bob via PM about inaccurate 52-week range figures being indicated on SI for a number of stocks I'd been following. Last month I PM'd SI Admin [can't remember who specifically] several additional examples. I continue to see WRONG information being indicated.

If SI's going to have WRONG financial information indicated, you should either NOT include that information ... if you can't ensure the accuracy. Or, provide a qualifer that the information may not be correct.

This is a financial forum, and I find it reprehensible that you continue to post inaccurate information. Novices most likely use the info that they see to make decisions. You're setting yourself up for getting sued. Particularly with current market activity.

Here's a most recent example: NOK [They did a 4-1 split a week ago]

NOK Hi-Low 52 week figures
SI's: 67.69 - 227.06
DJL: 16 15/16 - 58 11/32 <-- these are the right split adjusted figures

Compare your chart and DLJ's ...

DLJ's chart which is accurate [split adjusted]

You either gotta get rid of that 52 week range deal ... or get it right ... or have a qualifier that it may be wrong.

The other examples I previously gave SI Admin didn't split. They were just plain wrong.

Fortunately I don't pay attention to what I see on SI with your charts and that 52-week range stuff, cause I can't trust it anymore. But, other people do. Particularly newbies who don't know how to research stuff, and rely on what they see on a reputable "financial forum".

I've been in cash for a while, so incorrect info that appears real on SI ... hasn't affected me. But, I'm sure it will affect others who are relatively new to the market and to SI.

Why in the world have several months gone by, when you knew about this problem ... and it STILL hasn't been corrected?

I'm only finally making this a public post, rather than PM, because I see so many little, naive guys being hurt big-time because of mis-information. By your continuing to have wrong information, and being aware of the problem ... but continuing to allow this to happen ... you help contribute to the problem.
