bought iVillage last year because I like the female demographics, which are the most sought-after by advertisers. I thought it had a shot similar to Lifetime TV. It just never captured enough critical mass. That is not the exact wording that August used although I doubt the descrepency was intentional. The female demographics keeps my business alive. It is my target audience. Maybe Ivilliage never hit critical mass due to execution by management.
