I do not believe that is Intel's intentions however I think that it could be done. I know that one of the little known "prizes" in the Intel DEC settlement was that DEC had a particular tester that Intel uses and there was a very limited supply of them in the world. The need for them drops with the elimination of the BSB and it's highspeed requirements but any production line is only as fast as it's slowest link. So the answer is that it could be done. I know this will be interpreted to mean that it IS being done but I don't believe this is the case.
