For the first words of wisdom and probably the most important you will find here, it is this: RUN from this thread like the wind if you value your money!!!!! This is no place for a beginner! or a intermediate.... or for that matter an advanced investor.
It does however offer the best entertainment value on SI, but that's it. Otherwise RUN. RUN fast and don't look back.

The first rule of investing is preserve your right to invest! That means preserve your capital. And if you think I am kidding, and you don't run, then at least read the posts for the last 2 weeks and see how few followed this advice here and what it has cost them. So Run. Run. Please Run like the wind! This is the best investment advice you will ever get from this thread. If you believe nothing else, believe what I am telling you!
