Most of the "mass" money out there usually runs the wrong direction. They were loading up on tech funds at nosebleed valuations; they will dump those funds at a 30-40% loss now; some will go short or buy short funds once the horse is long gone from the barn; and they won't be buying while stocks are cheaper than they have been in a long time.

Why? Because they were burned once and afraid to take on a bit more risk for a potentially much larger reward. The same reason that very few shorts made money through early March. The risk of an ARBA or CMRC going up another 100 points outweighed the potential benefit of a downside drop.

Let's face it - we won't know what we "should" be doing now until we can look back in 2-3 months and see. I am playing long and short myself.

Good luck everyone.
