Bill, I have read that the BBN Board is recommending the $29, but isn't BBN too widely held for this to be considered a "done deal"? Does the Board control that big a block of the shares? Until GTE announces that it holds more than 50% can't another company make a counter bid. I thought that the GTE offer simply put BBN in play, and I have read several references to a possible bidding war. Am I reading the situation incorrectly? Chris C
