2) HDD is pioneering the new personal video devices, that are used in TiVo and replay boxes. This market is just taking off now and will be very big in 2001, 2002. HDD is the first mover in these new markets and is making valuable business connections and business relationship while some the other disk drive companies wait. Didn't someone post an article on the Seagate thread that said that Seagate had more share of this market than everyone else combined? Since I used to own lots of Seagate (no more) and have owned a relatively small amount of HDD I now hope that this isn't true.
