Russia's Norilsk Nickel mulls new PGM marketing policy
London--Apr 14--Russia's Norilsk Nickel has proposed to the government to
create a specialized marketing company to coordinate all Russian PGM sales
abroad in order to ensure a steady supply of the metals to the world markets,
General Manager Alexander Khloponin said in press release Friday. Norilsk Nickel is also studying proposals from western companies to process its PGM as it has become too expensive to do it in Russia. (Story .13756).
