Did I call you stupid? I don't think so. I might say something you SAID was stupid- but generally even that would be too blunt for me- I would, I think, use some other word. Of course it might MEAN stupid- but it would be in reference to your idea. Even if I secretly thought that about you I wouldn't try not to say it. Personalized discussions that end in name calling are just so boring. Not that I haven't done it occasionally (but I really can't remember ever calling you stupid- I defy you to find a post where I said that)- but I do try not to. It's hard sometimes, when others wish to engage in name calling, but in general I try to be a little bit better than that.
