Strike another blow for Fido.

Last month, they erroneously put 2000 shares of somebody else's Janus Twenty into my brokerage IRA account (to the tune of $175,000), and wouldn't give me a letter to protect me from the IRS in case they wanted to know where that money came from.

Now, today, I find they have a rule that unless a quote has a "last price," it can't be traded online. I hold some options on a fairly shallowly traded equity. It recently split, and the options got new symbols, so there is no "last trade" quote for the new symbol. I can't trade it online, I have to place the order through a broker, at full price.

Fido holds a record for their ability to piss me off. They are worse to deal with than the IRS -- at least I can hope for satisfaction via congress when dealing with the IRS. When Fido wants to screw you, they just do it with total impunity.
