Richard, I placed 3 separate option orders this morning via Velocity, roughly 30 to 45 minutes apart (before 11:15ET) and they were each represented reasonably fast. 2 I canceled and the UROUT came back fast. 1 executed and came back fast. I just started using V; not bad... but... MarkZ, the footprint for V is horrible. even while minimized it wakes up occasionally to do something and grows its footprint to its normal running size of 17MB or so. but max then min again will take it back to under 2MB. ok, so app development is fast w/ Marimba I would have to guess, but the users suffer because they have to put w/ a bloated execution environment. An app w/ the functionality of V should not have an active footprint over 2 to 3MB. still, it beats using the website to enter normal orders.
