When you say it beats the web site, you mean in terms of ease of use & responsiveness (speed) or in some other way? Regarding V, the hope is they'll study what CyberCorp does/did with CyberX. Very small footprint, very 'simple' software yet very effective. One screen gives you quotes, lets you trade, shows buying power, tracks profitability of open trades...very nice piece of software. What issues I have with it pale in comparison to V & the web site. Another nice thing is shorting doesn't require any human intervention; they have shorting capacity for each stock readily available and the computer 'approves' your short from there. None of this waiting for a human to look for the shares.
