Thanks for posting that data. Those prices prove AMD's 900 and 950 launch were real, not just a tag-a-long to the 1Ghz launch. According to this Register article, theregister.co.uk Intel will also be dropping prices on that day. It seems AMD will have a 1 1/2 speed grade advantage at the same price, as it has been in the past.

Last week I noticed prices dropped for the high-MHz Athlon systems, but not for the lower ones. I'm guessing the entry level $1299 650MHz Select system will become a 700MHz system next week, or shortly soon after.
