I cannot say about the e-mail, although even Texas Democrats generally praise Bush's initiatives. I am sure that he is a simple soul. I am not planning to invite him to a dinner party, and I find him likeable and bright enough from what I have observed in interviews. I did not follow the execution closely, so I do not feel in a position to comment. All I know is that Olasky has been praised beyond the borders of the evangelical world for work showing that the biggest cause of failure of the Great Society was its unwillingness to make moral demands, and the advent of '60s licentiousness, and that he has more recently been praised for promoting the role of faith- and- community based programs. From my perspective, he is a fine addition to the campaign.......
