Transpacific Resources Inc. - Today Announced The Acquisition In A Cash Transaction transaction

Conn, Ontario --
Transpacific Resources today announced the acquisition in a cash
transaction of a 100% interest in 25 claim units comprising 1,000
contiguous acres in the River Valley area of the Sudbury Mining
Division, Ontario.

The claim group straddles the boundary of Field and Grant
Townships 70 kilometres east of Sudbury.

A mafic intrusive body one mile long by 2,000 feet wide lies
within the claim group.

Surface sampling to date of rock outcrop has shown the presence
of platinum and palladium in the intrusive.

The Company now plans a sampling and assay program of exposures
of the intrusive, particularly along contact areas.

Any favourable results will be followed up by diamond drilling,
including cross sectioning, of unexposed areas of the intrusive.
