Hi Gabriel...yes....my cable's out, so I haven't heard what the chips companies reported this aft...but I figure it will be a blow-out (if you know, please post)...I also figure EMC and TYC (both of whom, I believe, are reporting earnings pre-market tomorrow) will report good earnings....so I expect we will open up strong....(Europeans will be buying tomorrow around 10:00 AM tomorrow)....we will trade up much of tomorrow...even up another 125 on Naz at some point.......and then give back some in the afternoon...hopefully ending moderately positive... (50,60)
I differ with you in one respect...I do not want to see the Naz go back to 4000 too quickly...to me, that would indicate that those who "over-margined" did not learn a lesson here...and that we could see a mini-crack again (too soon)...I would rather see us chop around for 2/3 weeks in the 3500-3800 range (with 3500 becoming the new floor....with a retest in here somewhere)...in my mind, such a period of a relative "flat" Naz would lend stability...it would allow the smarter margin players (you and me? g) to make nice gains...and keep the fluff on the sidelines...(come to think of it, you make a lot off of the fluff guys, don't you <G>).........I think some stability it in order, and after a calm summer, we can rock again in the fall, and reach high 4's by the end of the year...
My EMC, TYC, BRCM, JDSU all had stellar days...and should do well tomorrow as well...good luck to you...papaya is in the mail.... |
