Article on the Motley Fool compares Nortel and Cisco. In my opinion, it is a very superficial analysis. I don't know where they got their figure of .10 loss a year ago. They attribute Nortel's better growth entirely to optical which is incorrect. Nortel is outgrowing Lucent in wide area switches and routers according to DellOro. I believe Nortel is also outgrowing Lucent in wireless but I have not seen any figures on that comparison. fool.com
