Yep. They also have a board in Texas that gives the go or no go on executions. They went go. Hard to over rule. Be thankful she found Jesus and had a more peaceful execution.

The problem is if you commute everyone who found religion, the death penalty would have no teeth. I found Jesus. I found Allah. I found the 7-11.

And on the teacher's salaries, that's the school boards vs the NEA.
