John - you obviously haven't understood the implications of the GNU public license. There are approx. 20 companies alone in Copenhagen (2 mio. people), that can support Linux 100%. Most of them can support it better than Microsoft supports Windows. And IBM, SAP, SuSE, Intel, Siemens, Compaq etc. do not go bankrupt tomorrow.
