WCDMA is not a GSM overlay.They would need to built from scratch either a WCDMA or CDMA2000 3G system.WCDMA in my opinion is nothing more then a ploy to try and get some kind of concession in the current negotiations between the likes of Nokia and others with QUALCOMM.QUALCOMM will no doubt serve up the crow to Nokia and others when the final touches are applied in the negotiations that will clear the air with 3G.WCDMA is a joke waiting for a capitulation to QUALCOMM that can't be to far off.
