Nephew, please allow me to offer a dissenting opinion.

This market is far from stable. We've had the financial equivalent of a 9.0 earthquake over the last two weeks. Anyone who live in earthquake country knows that we will be faced with major aftershocks for the next few weeks. Some of these will be strong enough to knock down houses that are built on weak foundations (ie, heavy margin).

The road to recovery will be paved one brick at a time. Investors have begun to recover hope, but restoring confidence to the levels we had at the end of March will take 3 times longer than the panic correction.

That being said, with Gorillas INTC, SEBL, QCOM, and Godzilla AOL reporting tomorrow, Mr. Market may be in a mood to reward companies with earnings excellence. I hope.
