Scumbria, Another thought on the DDR/RDRAM comparisons (coming back to the dead-end-edness or not of SDRAM/DDR)... Rambus has announced that this Summer they'll demo RDRAM at 4x the current throughput (6.4MBs) by doubling the width and doubling the speed. To reach that performance level, we'll have to migrate from DDR-200 (or DDR-266) to DDR-800. When do you think DDR will get there? Is it technically feasible? Again, Tench? John W? Dave
