Pomp, I would presume that the majority of the calls are under water, but quite a good number of puts are in the money, thus the "power that be" will attempt to limit paying uo on the puts by causing shares to get to the Max pain pain point or as close as possible. Since the put call ratio has been consistently under .4 until the last two weeks, that should not be too difficult.
