Time for a funny story . . .

*Coal is a total sideline. They own 40% of RCNC and NXLK owns the rights to 25% of their network bandwidth, making for some interesting segues to further consolidation.*

When I first found Level Three it had just been spun out of Kiwit and was trading on the OTC BB for less than the cash on the balance sheet! Needless to say, I could not believe my eyes and bought carefully as I thought that the "powers that be" certainly knew something that I did not. I should have purchased 100% of my and everyone elses portfolio into it though . . . the numbers were real and it was just a matter of weeks before other folks caught on. While I made a bundle for a few folks (I sold too early as I have a habit of bailing when the majority of the "value" is expressed in the share price), I have never forgotten the lesson. We often know more about a company than we give ourselves credit. The same goes for GBLX.
