Durban Roodepoort Deep extends Dome Resources takeover offer

APR 17, 2000, M2 Communications - South African mining group Durban Roodepoort
Deep has decided to extend its takeover bid for Australian-based gold miner Dome
Resources with one month to 15 May.

Durban Roodepoort, which is offering one of its own shares and AUD0.80 in cash
for every nine of Dome's shares, claims it had gained control of 69% of Dome's
shares by 11 April.
