Rare Medium Selects StarBase to Manage eBusiness Development Process; StarTeam Delivers Complete Digital Asset Management for Web Application Development

SBAS , a leading provider of eCollaboration solutions for the development and management of eBusiness applications announced Tuesday that Rare Medium RRRR selected StarTeam Enterprise to manage the Internet development process for new Web projects under development in their San Francisco, San Antonio, Detroit and New York locations.
Rare Medium, which experienced rapid growth last year, provides clients development and implementation of e-commerce Internet strategies. By adopting StarTeam Enterprise and purchasing an initial 350 licenses, Rare Medium is looking to further standardize, structure, and automate its methodology among its geographically distributed Web development groups. With StarTeam Enterprise, checkpoints and approvals will flow automatically. Rare Medium's business processes, will be archived by StarTeam and will be easily accessible with full audit trail capability. StarTeam's central repository will maintain all project-related digital assets, allowing developers, graphic artists, and writers the ability to manage asset redeployment more effectively while eliminating the need for project development teams to start from scratch.
