Still keeping an eye on the 3650-3750 range on the COMP, and the lack of breadth is also troubling. Risk/reward in what?s likely to remain a very volatile market still appears unattractive, and investors who are comfortably positioned should wait for a more significant move lower to put new cash to work. Sentiment needs to get quite a bit more pessimistic, which might be accomplished by a move down towards support at the 2900 area on the COMP. Those still overweight tech stocks should use strength to reduce exposure and move into more defensive groups, which should also post solid earnings reports.
