Carl: Re: "Justa, remember, Bob says this is a bear market, right?"

I don't think this is technically correct. He has said that this is the kind of market in which a bear market can develop. One does not know for sure if they are in a bear market until the portfolio tells you.

Allan Harris is the resident B2B resident. I have resigned myself to a mutual fund approach for now. This is a rapidly changing area and I do not want to marry one company unless it is a gorilla. I do not think demand for the products and services will decline because the stock price has declined. I think the bigger threat to pure B2B companies are the likes of GE and MSFT moving in and dominating their turf or, alternatively, client companies developing their own B2B sevice. With respect to B2C, I think this is a tough area and only the strong will survive by virtue of brand name value (how much is the AMZN name worth) if no earnings are forthcoming anytime soon. BTW, money flow into AMZN is strong. Fat cats and individuals keep buying the stock. Same with EBAY.
