>ENGLEWOOD, Colo., April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Dynamics, Inc. (Nasdaq: MEDY), a leading nationwide provider of dental practice management software and integrated technology solutions, today announced that on April 14, 2000, InfoCure Corporation (Nasdaq: INCX) filed a registration statement on Form S-4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) related to InfoCure's proposed acquisition of Medical Dynamics. This filing includes the proxy statement that Medical Dynamics will issue calling for a special meeting of shareholders to approve the merger.

The special meeting is currently scheduled for May 30, 2000. However, depending upon SEC review of the filing, the meeting may be held at a later date. Medical Dynamics will only send notice of the meeting and solicit proxies from its shareholders after the registration statement has become effective under applicable law.

In December 1999, the Company and InfoCure Corporation executed a definitive merger agreement by which InfoCure will acquire all outstanding Medical Dynamics common stock in exchange for InfoCure common stock. On April 10, 2000, InfoCure and Medical Dynamics executed an amendment to the merger agreement which extends the date on which either party has the right to terminate the merger from May 31, 2000, to July 31, 2000. The final exchange ratio will be set on the date of completion following approval by the SEC and Medical Dynamics shareholders.
