So do I, but I think it requires insights I don't have.

I'm more of a long term investor. I buy stuff that's cheap. Those stocks often don't move for quite some time.

I have almost no ability to forecast short term stock moves or even the next quarter's earnings relative to the consensus. I can't even figure out a fair value for the option other than use Black Scholes - and even that requires volatility inputs that could be viewed as subjective.

I am a net loser on my options trades over the years, but occasionally still use them as a hedge to satisfy some gambling instincts and to feel more comfortable about being net very long in equities. Perhaps some day I will have the insights to make money but somehow I doubt it. :-(
