comment on QCOM from technical perspective

the 120-122 wall of support was very significant all winter long and into the spring

it will take more than a day like the NAZ is seeing today to get us over it

investors must want to see the earnings news, complete with the acquisition, chipset sales, and wCDMA commitments... this will be a very juicy earnings report, with the numbers less important than everything else

the acquisition is of a firm involved with SIM/GSM software... I dont understand many details, but generally know that this represents a key piece in the wireless wars... with this firm, QCOM can manufacture chips that operate in dual mode: GSM/CDMA... thus, the chip would enable penetration in Europe

once we get over 120, we should see 140 in a flash
shorts are hovering in this 115-120 range
they must be dealt with and crushed
the shorts operating at 99-105 got overrun yday afternoon

anxious myself about earnings for Q today
/ Jim
