Tue 18 Apr 2000 News Release
Ms. Courtney Stearns reports
Conac Software has signed an agreement with Trade Service Corporation to
provide trade service industry standard products and services. Trade
Service Corporation is the leading provider of standardized product
information to the electrical, plumbing, heating and piping industries.
Keeping pace with the electronic business evolution, Trade Service is
committed to offering its customers the most innovative and
solution-oriented business tools in the market today.
By aligning Conac with Trade Services, the company is providing its
customers with an expanded data source allowing for timely updates either
by CD or on-line via the Internet. The link between TRA-SER and Conac
software also streamlines the estimating to purchasing to billing cycle,
improving the contractor's cash flow. In addition to providing a more
robust product, this agreement provides for a mutually beneficial marketing
and distribution arrangement whereby Conac will bundle a trial version of
Trade Service's TRA-SER Pro software program within its product and will
generate royalties from the sale of each TRA-SER program.
Courtney Stearns, vice-president of Conac's United States operations, said:
"We're very proud of our comprehensive and unique integration with Trade
Service products. The great synergy between our companies results in a
technologically superior link between our software systems that proves to
be very beneficial to the electrical and mechanical contractors we serve."
"We are excited to partner with Conac Software and support the unique
services they provide to the construction industry. We look forward to a
rewarding and mutually beneficial relationship," said Mark Holland,
vice-president of sales and marketing for Trade Service. For more
