Robertson Stephens Reiterates Buy Rating on MESG
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2000--Robertson Stephens Senior eCommerce Infrastructure Services Analyst Richard Juarez today reiterated his Buy rating on MessageMedia (NASDAQ:MESG - news), after the company reported solid fourth quarter results. MessageMedia, based in Boulder, Colo., is a leading provider of permission-based eMessaging solutions.

'We are reiterating our Buy rating on MessageMedia, after the company reported fourth quarter 1999 revenues of $4.9 million and earnings-per-share of ($0.12), beating our estimates by $0.3 million and $0.01, respectively,' said Juarez. 'Revenue for the quarter grew 36 percent sequentially on a pro forma basis. This was mainly driven by growth in messaging volumes and new significant customer wins in the company's core business of outsourced expert eMessaging services.'

'We believe that MessageMedia has succeeded in establishing itself a leading outsourced eMessaging and customer communication expert with a robust solution set for maintaining a continuos customer dialog.
