Should the CORL/INPR merger consummate, MSFT will hold about the same number of shares as Dr. Cowpland. A most interesting twist on pepsi/coke:

1. What impact will MSFT's stake have on management?
2. Is this MSFT'S entry into the Linux mainstream?
3. Is this MSFT's way of "getting in" on a Linux o/s with
the look and feel of Windows.
4. It is quite significant that the date of US anti-trust
objections has expired, as was announced.
5. What impact will this have on Corel's motivation to
improve and market its windows products?
6. Will Corel shift into Linux only mode focusing only on
the Linux market?
7. At Corel's annual meeting, Mr. Fuller indicated that
INPR's major shareholder's had been contacted and that
they support the merger. This must include MSFT.

Some of these questions may have been addressed at the time of the merger announcement, but now that the date draws near, I'm trying to sort it out. Thoughts???
