Right off the top of my head, the rain forests in Brazil aren't really renewable in any reasonable time period.

I agree that some resources are slowly renewable and that there has been a lot of irresponsible harvesting of them.

What I guess we don't know at this point, is what the long term repercussions are.

I still don't believe all that I have read concerning the ozone layer and it's effect on global warming.

Time will tell.
